Homelab

2025 — Present

Self-hosted Proxmox infrastructure and security homelab

Built and administered a virtualized home lab on Proxmox VE and Ubuntu Server to test Linux systems administration, network segmentation, and host-level firewall policies.
Configured an encrypted WireGuard VPN tunnel for secure remote access and deployed a Pi-hole DNS sinkhole to filter telemetry and manage internal local DNS resolution.

Fall 2026

City of Boise 3-tier campus network architecture

Designed a hierarchical Core/Distribution/Access network across 4 campus hubs and 5 segmented VLAN subnets (VLAN 10–50) with standardized Building-Floor-Department-Node naming conventions.
Engineered a dual-firewall DMZ perimeter (web, email, DNS, and NAT servers) with 100 Gbps fiber core links, 10 Gbps distribution trunks, and redundant Sparklight Fiber and Verizon WAN failover.
